For Promise Scholars at WSCC, as part of your appeal, please email a copy of your current unofficial transcript, along with any other supporting documentation to info@masoncountypromise.org  
Students submitting an appeal after the Promise deadline for that semester (August 1 for Fall, December 1 for Winter, May 1 for Spring) should plan to set up a WSCC payment plan to ensure their courses do not get dropped, if they have no other source of financial aid.  Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a Promise scholarship will be granted or restored.  

THE NEXT APPEALS REVIEW IS FEBRUARY 2, 2026; SUBMIT YOUR APPEAL NO LATER THAN JANUARY 26, 2025 AT NOON (EARLIER IS BETTER)

Promise Scholars must be in good standing with a 2.0 GPA or higher, and must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress for financial aid purposes to be eligible for the Promise Scholarship. If a student is placed on financial aid suspension because of not meeting SAP, they will not be eligible to use the Mason County Promise Scholarship. If the student is granted an appeal for SAP at WSCC, they can then appeal to the MCP board to request that their Promise Scholarship be reinstated for that semester.
